Many new resources are now available to help prevent the tragic loss of suicide. To bring awareness to all these resources, September is now National Suicide Prevention Month. The 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is a new initiative to simplify access to help at times of crisis. It is available 24 hours per day, and the support offered is free of charge and confidential.
