KENTUCKY REGIONAL EXTENSION CENTER

Promoting Interoperability
Promoting Interoperability of a certified Electronic Health Record (EHR) is required to meet Hospital Promoting Interoperability requirements. The Promoting Interoperability is challenging and changing constantly. The Kentucky REC helps healthcare organizations stay on top of these demanding program requirements. We offer support services for hospitals required to report Promoting Interoperability each year.

Until the end of the program, we also offered Promoting Interoperability advisory services for those participating in the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program. We maintain an archive of resources for those seeking information about this program.

Successfully navigating the complex and evolving Promoting Interoperability landscape can be a challenging task. We have a proven track record of helping Eligible Hospitals (EHs) and Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) with compliance in the Electronic Health Records (EHR) Incentive Programs. We work closely with our clients, providing efficient and effective advisory services to guide them through the multifaceted environment unique to health information technology.

We will provide:

  • Detailed review of all Promoting Interoperability objectives and Clinical Quality Measures (CQMs)
  • Promoting Interoperability (PI) Gap Analysis to assess hospital’s current PI status
  • Review of attestation timelines, process, and deadlines
  • Attestation assistance and ongoing guidance
  • Audit preparation guidelines and recommendations
  • Audit support services

Have more questions?  We are here to help! Contact the Kentucky REC today to learn more about the support we provide.
