NEWLY RELEASED: QPP 2023 Performance Year Final Score & MIPS Payment Adjustments Information

On Monday, August 12, 2024, Centers for Medicare and Medicare Services (CMS) released program year 2023 Quality Payment Program (QPP) final scores and associated payment adjustment rates impacting reimbursement amounts for Part B Covered Professional Services paid in CY2025.

We recommend practices take a few moments to review scores and adjustments to verify accuracy. This information can be accessed on the QPP Portal at http://qpp.cms.gov.

CMS has also opened the targeted review period for QPP 2023 Final Scoring & Payment Adjustments. This is CMS’s only mechanism for ECs and groups to request a review of scoring calculations or submission errors found in the feedback report process.

If the targeted review request is approved by CMS, this may result in an updated final score and/or payment adjustment. Practices and clinicians have a limited time to file a request. Targeted Reviews may be requested now through October 11th, 2024 at 8:00 pm ET.
