On October 6, 2015, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released the Final Rule for the EHR Incentive Program that includes modifications to Stage 1 and Stage 2 requirements as well as an advanced look at Stage 3 Meaningful Use. In addition, the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) announced the release of the Final Rule for the 2015 Edition Health Certification Criteria.
