It is our mission and long-term responsibility to transform health care delivery through the effective use of technology. It remains our goal to assist all of our eligible providers in our service area to adopt EHRs and achieve MU stage 1 by the end of this year. However, our clients have made it clear that our services are valued and needed beyond our initial federal funding period, which ends in April 2014.
To continue to be your trusted advisor, we must make the transition from a grant-funded organization to a self-sustaining one.
Therefore, Kentucky REC has launched a suite of comprehensive consulting and technical solutions designed to help providers optimize EHRs and meet stage 1 and 2 meaningful use requirements and beyond.
These services include:
- Meaningful Use Gap Analysis & Needs Assessment
- Meaningful Use Attestation
- Continuing Education
- MU Training Classes
- Preferred Vendor Programs
- Privacy & Security Consulting
- Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Consulting
With a proven methodology and a team dedicated to quality, we will continue to assist with the challenges all healthcare professionals face— understanding, and meeting, the complex requirements of MU.
In the upcoming months, we will be sending out additional information on our transition. Your Kentucky REC implementation specialist will be contacting you soon in order to set up a meeting to discuss our future partnership. Thank you again for all of your hard work and dedication and we look forward to continuing to serve you.
