Behavioral Health Community of Practice

The Behavioral Health Community of Practice, organized by UK HealthCare & Kentucky REC, will connect primary care providers, specialists and organizations through learning sessions where behavioral health experts will present best practices, tools and resources to optimize care.

The format of the Community of Practice is monthly one-hour webinars October 2022 through May 2023 from noon – 1 pm. The webinars will include educational sessions, best practice overviews, interactive trainings on tools and resources, and group discussions.

What is Mental Health First Aid?

Mental Health First Aid is a course that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis.
