HIPAA Security: It’s a Journey, Not a Destination

When it comes to HIPAA Security, there is no “finish line.” Since hackers are finding new ways to penetrate our networks every day, network security will always be an ongoing process. Our best line of defense against attacks that could lead to a breach is a proactive approach to HIPAA Security.

In this presentation, we’ll discuss:

  • the top six lessons learned after a breach
  • what a proactive approach should look like
  • the information system activity review requirements under the HIPAA Security Rule
  • resources you can leverage to identify security holes in your network

Other topics include: QPP Year 3, Implementing Quality Improvement in your Practice, Quality Measure Improvement, Improving Quality through Feedback Report Alignment, Telehealth, Vulnerability Scanning, Promoting Interoperability, and Health Information Exchange.

Lunch is provided to all participants.

This day’s activities are approved for 4 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

All events will start at 9:00 am for registration and end at 3:10 pm local time.
